Windows 10: WINDOWS 11 SNIPPING TOOL NOT PRINTING AND NOW NOT OPENING IN PHOTO

Hi.When I use the snipping tool, it opens and snips but I have not been able to print anything for about 3 months.I have been snipping what I need then opening with Photo via snipping tool app to print. Annoying but workable.Yesterday I noticed I no longer have the option to open with Photo from the menu and now the only option I have is to save the image and then open it in photo to print.I have tried to repair, uninstall and reinstall snipping tool with no change.No changes have been made. Last Windows update was 15/09/2023, no updates outstanding.Windows Specs:Edition Windows 11 ProVersi

Windows 11 Photos and Snipping Tool Apps not printing

I have a user who is unable to print from the Windows 11 Photos app, and the Snipping Tool. When the Print button is pressed, or when CTRL+P is used, the print dialogue box appears on the screen briefly before disappearing suddenly. I've done the following:

1. Restarted the computer
   
2. Restarted the printer
   
3. Restarted the Spooler
   
4. Reset the Photos and Snipping Tool apps
   
5. Ran the Powershell command to re-register Microsoft Store apps
   
6. Run "sfc /scannow" 3x
   
7. Reset the Microsoft Store app
   

The unit is a Dell laptop which has been in production for barely a month. Test pages print fine. Legacy desktop applications print fine. I've verified that this user's usual printer is set as default. None of the solutions I've found on the forums so far have proved effective. I'm hoping someone has a fix that's worked.

Pretty sure the windows7 version printed too, didnt it?

Or take the screenshot, save it, open it with photo viewer ,or paint & print from there. I'm a big snipping tool user, for years, ive always had it in my taskbar

All it is is one extra step beyond what is native to windows 10. Yes, technically it would be easier to have the functionality of print built in to the Windows 7 version, but you just have to save it ,and right click on it ,and print.

As far as getting the windows 10 version into windows7. I know there was a way to get the old winpaint, so maybe there's a way to get the snipping tool into 10, I don't know.
