  1. Windows 11 text scaling does not affect the whole system

When I change the scale of the text or text size it changes correctly in most parts of the system, but does not affect text in file explorer, or on the desktop, or in right-click menus, among others. I have tried every suggestion I could find online but the text size for the locations I mentioned stays the same small size. You can see from the attached screenshot how some parts of the file explorer have large text correctly scaled to 150%, as I have chosen in the settings while the text for the items inside the folder have remained very small. Nothing I do in the settings will change its siz

  2. I can't reduce the size of text, apps and items on my windows 10 phone Lumia XL

    Hi,

We'll be happy to guide you. There are two ways to adjust the text size:

    • Settings > Ease of Access > More options > Text Scaling ( this setting affects the text size for apps ).

    • Settings > System > Display > Size of text, apps, and items on this display
( this setting affects the overall User Interface scaling of your device ).
NOTE : If you still cannot resize your text, we suggest you to perform a
    soft reset
and try the above steps again.

Keep us posted for further assistance.

    Regards.

  3. Weird blurry text scaling in a few system applications/screens

What I always suggest in such case: Go to Settings - Display - Advanced scaling settings and enter custom scaling size to 125. Probably it still depends on your resolution but with me it works. Already 4 years this issue hasn't disappear even fix blury whatever option is on and so many CUs. Just give it a shot *Smile

  4. Windows 11 text scaling does not affect the whole system

Display Scaling Blurry text when using multiple monitors. Blurry text affects secondary monitor that has no scaling.

When using Scaling on my primary monitor for example 125%, text on my secondary monitor becomes blurry with some applications.

My primary monitor is a 32" HP Omen 2560x1440 and my secondary monitor is 24" Asus 1920x1080.

I've managed to capture the blurry text as a screenshot from the same secondary monitor that should not have any scaling applied.

    Steps to replicate.

Set primary monitor to 125% scaling (32" HP Omen 2560x1440).

    Windows 10 > Settings > System > Display > Scale and Layout > 125%

Secondary monitor (24" 1920x1080) should be at default 100%.

Sign Out to confirm scale changes.

Open Control Panel classic and change View By to Small Items.

Move Control Panel window to secondary monitor.

    Results

    Primary monitor scaled 125%.

Control Panel items viewed on Secondary Monitor that should have no scaling.

    Text is blurry !

    Primary monitor scaled 100% (default)

Control Panel items again viewed on Secondary Monitor.

    No issues with text.
