Windows 10: Windows 11 - TIF File thumbnail display

Discus and support Windows 11 - TIF File thumbnail display in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have a problem with my TIFF files.     Windows 11 - TIF File thumbnail display


    I have a problem with my TIFF files. Those created as 8-Bit "tif" files, display in Windows 11 Explorer just fine. I have some tif files of about 20MB in size that Explorer treats quite normally.My problem lies with 16-bit "tiff" files. All that Windows Explorer shows for these are blank white icons. The files open just fine in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop etc, it's just Windows 11 that has problems with them.Is there a solution that will display 16-bit tiff files in Explorer please?

    Windows 11 Not Displaying Thumbnails for PNG images only - JPGs and others display OK

    Since I upgraded to Windows 11 on my Dell Precision laptop, File Explorer does not display image thumbnails for portable network graphic .png images only. Thumbnails for all other image types (.jpg, .tif, .svg, et al) display fine. I've searched for a resolution but the primary answer I find is to make sure "Always show icons and never thumbnails" is unchecked. It is unchecked. In addition, all my display drivers are up to date.

    Would appreciate it if anyone has a solution because I do web consulting and use many .png images. It's a pain not to be able to quickly view them when choosing from multiple image files.
