    Windows 11 update broke my settings, start menu, and task bar

I've since tried multiple solutions from online: Restart PC, restart Windows explorer through task manager, system recovery but most of them requires Settings, I can't open my settings, even if I right click the start menu. I can't access settings from display settings either, I get the error "This

    • Get-appxpackage -all *shellexperience* -packagetype bundle |% {add-appxpackage -register -disabledevelopmentmode ($_.installlocation + “\appxmetadata\appxbundlemanifest.xml”)}
    5. Once the command execution is completed successfully, close the PowerShell window and reboot/ restart the computer.

    NOTE: When you are running the PowerShell command, I recommend you to close all the apps on your system and try.

  4. Windows 11 update broke my settings, start menu, and task bar

    Start menu broke.

    Thanks for the reply,

    But I do not have problem with the crashes anymore. I also cannot use any of the options previously posted as setting will not open as it is a windows app. The problem I am having is the start menu broke and the task bar not fully functioning.
