Windows 10: windows 11 update from 23h2 to 24h2 fails with error code 0xc1900101 windows

Hello,today I tried 3 times to update my PC, Intel i7-9600 from Windows 11 23H2 to version 24H2 this update was offered by the normal windows update.It the rolled back with error message code 0xc1900101.Using the Windows Update troubleshooting tool did not fix the problem.Any help is appreciated. as I did not find a solution searching this forum.Kind regardsJohannes

Several Windows 11 21H2 computers will not upgrade to 23H2, error code 0xC1900101

We have about 20 computers under management that will not upgrade their build to 22H2 or 23H2. They consistently produce the error code 0xC1900101. This is a failing of the "SAFE_OS" mode where it boots into a Windows PE instance for the purpose of finishing the update, but it apparently is crashing in that step. I've tried various methods of performing the update. We've used the ISO inside of Windows, Windows Upgrade Assistant, and booting the computer off the ISO and none of them have helped us move forward. I'd prefer not to wipe and reload these computers. Has anyone else run into this?

Windows 11 Installation Error - Error Code: 0xC1900101 0x40021

Hello.

I tried installing Windows 11 23H2 from 22H2 using ISO but it fails and rolls back at the end with the error:

Error Code: 0xC1900101 0x40021

The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_RESPECIALIZE operation

Can't seem to find any documentation regarding this error.

Looking at a previous post with same error (Redirecting), i've saved the following files:

• C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther\Setupact.log
  
• C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Rollback\Setupact.log
  
• C:/$Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupapi\setupapi.dev.log
  
• C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Rollback\Setupmem.dmp
  

and used "setupdiag /ZipLogs:True" to create the Logs.zip file, but don't know what to search for.

Any help on this?

windows 11 update 24h2 0xc19001e1 error

Hi

I am trying updating my windows 11 from Edition

Windows 11 Pro

Version 23H2

Installed on ‎19-‎06-‎2024

OS build 22631.3807

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1020.0

to 24H2.

After download and install 100%, while system restart, it is asking for choosing the language. Upon choosing any language, it goes to troubleshoot screen for repair or reset.

I am getting error code of 0xc19001e1.

What to do ?
