Windows 10: Windows 11 update takes up a lot of storage space

Hello,I recently installed the 22H2 version of Windows 11 on my Dell laptop.Right after the update everything seemed fine, but a couple of days after I realized most of the storage was being filled up I have a 225 GB SSD.After checking the disk I realized now the OS files take up more than 80 GB of my disk.After some research on the internet I figured that the OS is supposed to take up between 15 and 30 GB.I already proceeded with eliminating previous versions of the OS, and other temporary files, but the situation does not change: it seems the current version of the OS alone actually takes

You don't show a screenshot, so I am uncertain to which part of the process of creating a storage space you are referring. I pointed you to the tutorials. I now provide you with a screenshot of part of one of them, which shows a warning which might be what you are referring to.





Your question about double storage / redundancy appears to relate to the normal operation of storage spaces once configured, so seems obscure.

My impression is that few here have used storage spaces.

Can't Free Up Storage OnHP Stream 11 Running Windows 10

As you are unable to delete the temporary files and free up the storage space on Windows 10 Operating System, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to refer to the below Microsoft article about:
Free up drive space in Windows 10

Step 2: I suggest you to check the storage capacity of each of the drives in
Windows Explorer.

• Press Windows key, type This PC, select it.
• Right click on each of the drives and click on Properties.
• Also, you can perform Disk Cleanup from the
  Step 2 as well.
• Select the files to be delete on each of the drives.

Windows Manage Storage Spaces

Dear Windows Team,

Are there any list of drives which are supported to use manage storage spaces.

As I have 10x 5TB WD My Passport Drive all drives shows error while creating for pool like the listed drive doesn't support the pool option.

Then which drives should I use?

Any suggestions!!!
