Windows 10: Windows 11 uses too much upload and is slowing down internet

In windows 11, I measured my idle network consumption and it measures at about 100 kb/second all the time, even when i’m not using the internet. This is a very fast speed for me, as I use verizon DSL internet which is very slow. I do not know the cause of this over-usage, but it is slowing down my internet speeds greatly. Sadly, there are no faster internet options in my area.

WIN10 internet SLOW!!!!!!!

• Have you tried connecting to some other Internet connection and check if the same issue occurs?

Can't upload photos with IE 11 and Windows 10

Thank you for updating us on the issue.

I would suggest you to turn off and turn on Internet Explorer 11 and check

To turn off and turn on Internet Explorer 11 follow the steps given below

• Click the Start button,
• click Control Panel, click Programs and Features,
  
• And then click Turn Windows features on or off. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
• Clear the check box for Internet Explorer 11 to turn it off, and then click
  Yes.
• Click OK and, when prompted, restart your PC.

Once the computer restarts, follow steps 1-3 again from the above mentioned steps
and check the check box for Internet explorer to turn it on and then click
” Yes” and Click OK ,when prompted restart the computer. And check if issue persists.
