Windows 10: Windows 1809 (October 2018 Update) ruined my start-up.

So i have updated to Windows 1809 in possibly late March if i am correct, but it has affected my PC starting up.


Whenever i shut it down, then start it back up (Restart just restarts it without problems) the computer loads purely nothing, not even anything in sight and both monitors are purely black-screened at this point till after a few times shutting it off and turning it back on again + also plugging out the cable connecting the computer's cables.


If i am successful in getting this thing to load something (As of now, it is) i won't have some problems happening till it's shut down again.


I am worried over my PC if this keeps happening.

Edge browser stopped working after upgrading to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809)

After upgrading to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809), Microsoft Edge browser can't load any web site or even resolve a DNS name. IE11, Chrome and Firefox still work OK.

 

Windows 10 October 2018 Creators Update Winver 1809

This is amazing. I purchased a Windoiws 10 Pro Installation DVD and fresh installed it on my Laptop. It installed the Winver 1809 which is the version of Windows 10 with October 2018 Creators Update.
Next day Windows Update downgraded it to version 1803.

Now when I try to install the October 2018 update on the Laptop, it doesn't get installed though I understand that it has been again released by Microsoft. On my Desktop I had updated to Winver 1809 on the
day it was originally released and it is working like a charm.

Isn't this amazing? Can someone please help me to install Winver 1809 on my Laptop? I am not an Insider.

Edge browser stopped working after upgrading to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809)

Enabling the TCP/IPv6 on the adapter card fixed the issue for me. I did not have it enabled because my IP service provider does not use IPv6 and I had it disabled and Edge worked in that config until I updated to Windows 10 version 1809 in October. Spent several hours trying different suggestions that did not help. This fix took me 20 seconds to implement and get Edge connected to the internet.
