    Windows 1909 slow


    Hi

    I have two Laptops with 16 gb ram with ssd's. Both were very fast until 1909. Unfortunately I didnt use these till after the 10 day period to revert back. One of them i wiped out and reinstalled and the problem persists. Slow navigation, slow browsing, system wide latency. Wiped out a second time and installed 1809. Laptop ran fine. My other laptop has profiles and software configs that would take a long period of time to restore. Does anyone have this issue? I tried everything. Scanned drive, firmware and bios updates, SFC and dism commands uninstalled some programs, checked for malware. Any ideas?

    Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

    Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

    Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Windows 10 extremely slow after updating to 1909

    Thanks for your reply. The PC has an SSD and a HHD for several years. The processor is slow but it has been running well enough for my needs until recent updates.
