Windows 10: windows 2004 feature update

hi me again.its now been 6 months of trying to install 2004 update .always ends with error 1900101.have reset com 10 times but no luck.have tried windows update assistant no luck. made a dvd iso no luck.made a usb stick no luck.. im not a computer expert i am just a person who purchased a windows com thinking i would not have any problems.how naive was i .when windows update offers me a feature update i have to assume it will work how naive again i didnt purchase a windows com to have to become a computer expert and learn about the registry the bios the inner workings ....i bought a windows com just to be able to use it as a com .so why is it that windows update KEEPS offering me the feature update when its not going to work on this com

WHICH IS ONLY 1 YEAR OLD ..have also trie deleting bluetooth....disebling wifi etc etc etc..ok enough of my ranting ..can someone please assist me ...i have setupact and setuperr ready to be sent ..these errors appear after each reset of com hears hoping thank you

Windows Show Hide not hiding 2004 feature update

Show/Hide has always worked for me. Yesterday I had about 10 updates show. I want to install all BUT the 2004 Feature Update, so hid that in Show/Hide. It shows as hidden there, but when I check Windows Update again the next day, it is still listed. Normally, it would not be and all other updates would be. Now all are there and I do not yet care to install the feature update.

Any ideas / suggestions?

Feature Update Win 10 Pro 2004

The Feature Update Win 10 2004 appears to have installed successfully on my computer.

It is listed in Settings, System, About.

However, the Update has wiped out all of my previous Windows Update, View Update History which is now blank.

Moreover, the Feature Update Win 10 2004 itself is not listed in Settings, Update and Security, Windows Update, View Update History.

Is this important?

And if so, how can it be repaired?

Disable installation of Feature Update 2004

About 2 weeks ago, version 2004 showed up on the Updates list and automatically installed. Upon completion of the install, the computer was completely unusable: no application would load; those that started would hang and eventually (5 minutes) fail. To
attempt to remove the update, I had to force a power off (mirrored drives really don't like that!) and then was finally able to use to Recovery under Updates to remove about 95% of the update. After the require restart and while checking what was or was not
working, Updates (of course) reinstalled 2004. Repeat: Recovery and Remove 95% (95% of 95% = 90% Usable). Attempting to use MS questions area, the only suggestion was to Disable the Updates Service which, of course, means no further security or usability
patches.

All of that overly long explanation is by way of saying: I have attempted the only other option given here for removing 2004. At the moment, the Update Service is Disabled (PS: if you leave it at Manual, it will eventually start up and 2004 will commence
its installation). So, the question: is there ANY way to disable the attempt by Update Service to install version 2004? I don't mean "install and wait for a couple of patches", I mean permanent tell Windows to NOT attempt to install 2004? My computer works
just fine without the feature updates and does not work AT ALL *with* the updates. Prior versions and other patches allow for the update to be Hidden and ignored; Feature Update 2004 will install if the service is running and there appears to be no way to
abort/hide/ignore the update.

Any suggestions??
