  1. Windows 2004 running really slow

I have recently gotten rid of my PC and gone for a laptop/egpu setup (I work as a software developer and travel a lot so I like having my files on the same device). I currently use the Razer Blade Stealth (2017) and the Nvidia GTX 980TI in the Razer Core X case. I have it hooked up to 3 1080P 60Hz monitors.

I was using Windows 1909 for a few days once I first got setup and everything seemed to work perfectly fine (in theory, I may not have been using it for long enough to experience any issues), but I upgraded to the Windows 2004 update 2 weeks ago (approximately). Ever since I upgraded my PC has been running extremely slow. My web browser (Brave Browser) reports running out of memory despite only showing 10/16Gb used in task manager. My Discord client crashes constantly. Applications are very slow to open, sometimes not opening at all. Visual Studio is very slow when running when using (I use for C# development so it is crucial).

It is very slow to the point of being unusable. My start menu and search take ages to open a lot of the time e.t.c. I have checked task manager, Brave only uses about 1Gb on average, however when I do anything, System Interrupts seems to jump up and use 100% CPU, also when I click on start or search Windows Directory seems to rise to the top of the CPU usage. I'm not too sure what to do and since I work from home, my desktop is crucial to run okay. Has anyone got any ideas??

    Thank you!!

Edit: Just to add, my current setup has arguably the same amount of processing power as my old desktop PC with the same amount of memory. I never had a problem running anything on my old desktop which I used for a long time. I'm not sure whether this is a software or driver issue so any input is appreciated, thank you Windows 2004 running really slow :)
