Windows 10: Windows 7 blue screen when running media creation tool

I am trying to download windows 10 and create a bootable usb. Problem is.. when i run the media creation tool even as administrator my windows 7 crashes and i get a blue screen with error code 0x0000003B

The Windows Media Creation Tool allows you to download the Windows 10 ISO directly from Microsoft, without having a product key. You can use it to clean install or upgrade to Windows 10. It can also be use to download the different editions of Windows 10.

As for the build and version of your Windows 10, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R on your keyboard to open up the run command prompt.

Method 1: I suggest you to perform a clean boot. Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the
