Windows 10: Windows 7 Pro 32 bit to Windows 10 64 bit

I presently have Win 7 installed on my ASUS laptop. It can handle 32 or 64 bit programs. The windows 7 is installed as a 32 bit OS but is corrupted. Repair doesn't solve my problem from the original disk.


So I bought a new Win 10 64 bit OS. It won't load over the 32 bit Win 7 at all "error"


How can I deal with this or even wipe the ASUS hard disk with the win 7? Format will not work.

If the system architect is 32 bit, then you can’t install 64 bit version of windows in it. I suggest you to run “winver” by pressing Windows + R, and check the version and bit.

There are some games that you can install it in 32 bit as well.

Windows 10 is the free upgrade for those users who has genuine key for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 , normally it doesn't require activation, it's gets activated automatically, in case if you face an issue with activation the you can get back to
us.

Windows 10 pro 32-bit to Windows 10 pro 64-bit

Hi, I have upgraded my OEM build of Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 10 pro 32-bit.

now I want to clean install Windows 10 pro 32-bit to Windows 10 pro 64-bit.Can I do it?

But I don't know Windows 10 pro product key

You do not qualify for Windows 10 Home 64 bit. If you wanto switch to a 64 bit version of Windows 10, it is a two step process and your logical upgrade path is Windows 10 Pro.

I want to switch from my currently installed architecture when migrating to Windows 10. Do I have that option with the free upgrade offer?
