    Windows 8.1 key for windows 10 home?


    I know you used to be able to use a windows 8.1 license on a windows 10 machine. They announced these keys would stop working at some point but last I checked they still worked. Does anyone know if they still work as of today?

    I have a 8.1 license that I barely got any use of and would like to use it to get a vm up and running.

    Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
