Windows 10: Windows Account Password

Why are Windows Account passwords so troublesome.I switched to using a Windows account from local accounts partly because of my Windows Office subscription and to synchronise items across multiple PC and mobile phones.However, there are drawbacks to this approach where it seems that cached account passwords on individual PCs and mobile phones don't seem to be updated in a timely manner leading to all sorts of weird problems with various components saying that my password is incorrect after it's been updated until the cached version gets updated. Local Account password changed to Online Account Password

Hi,

I suggest you to follow the steps on how to switch from Microsoft account to Local account:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Local account instead.
• Enter your Microsoft account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the Local account and click OK.
• Now, login to Local account.

Long boot time and passwords missing

The only reason I mention the account is that a Windows update recently was causing people to be signed into a temporary account, your password manager may be installed for all users but the list of passwords would be user specific, therefore the blank password list suggests a different account. *Smile
