Windows 10: Windows activation doesnt work

Hello everyone.

So five days ago i got a warning to activate my Windows 10 (PRO) even tough its activated.I went to the Windows Activation setting in settings menu and clicked the activate Windows button.It asked me to enter my product key,wich i entered.When i clicked ok i got a warning saying to connect to Internet in order to activate my Windows 10.I was connected to the Internet at that moment and i still am (posting this from the same device).I tried running the troubleshooter but it tells me to connect to Internet.

If anyone had this problem knows how to fix it i would love to know how.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Windows activation doesn't work

Hi Michael,

This might be caused by Windows Firewall issues. We'd like to know where you bought the activation code. As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest turning Windows Firewall On. Follow the steps below:

• Go to Control Panel.
• Click System and Security then Windows Firewall.
  
• Then on the left panel, select Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
  
• Select Turn on Windows Firewall, click OK then restart PC.
