Windows 10: Windows activation Error: 0xC0000022

I have a real difficult problem and no matter where I look, I can't find a solution.


Here's the thing, I recently reset my laptop, clean reset and after I went through the installation process and all, I found that windows is not longer activated. It was b4. I go to the activation section in settings, It's blank.




When I try to run Microsoft update and windows update, I get Error: 0xC0000022. I tried looking at the Software Protection service but that didn't help. I got this and what ever I did didn't change a thing

In trying to activate windows from the command prompt, I got the below error.





So the question is how to fix this error? Anyone?

Window 10 Activation Error 0xc0000022 after Recovery

Hey Community

I was running Window 8.1 and got upgraded to Window 10. About 2 weeks later my Start Menu button and all buttons in the action center stopped working so i performed a reset on my PC using the system settings and chose the option to leave my personal files.

When windows reinstalled again, it said that i need to activate my copy of Windows and a watermark "Activate Windows" is present in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

When i click the Activate button in Update & Security > Activation setting page, it states Windows cant activate. Try again later.

It gives the error of 0xC004F012. However, using Produkey by Nirsoft, i was able to locate my product key and it is the same (the last 5 digits as the rest is hashed) as the value that the page shows me under "Your Product Key Info" as *****-8HVX7

Using that product key i get the error of 0xc0000022 "Error Installing Product Key"

Any suggestions?
