Windows 10: Windows Activation for Windows 10

Hi, so about a week ago I upgraded from windows 10 home to windows 10 pro on my laptop for school. I upgraded on the micro soft store where it said upgrade from windows 10 home to windows 10 pro. I paid the money and my computer upgraded successfully. Later on in that week, I took my laptop to tech support for my school to get it configured my laptop so I can access the Microsoft apps such as word, power-point, publisher etc. A few days later, my laptop said activate windows on the bottom right of my screen, so I went to activation and I saw code 0xC004F211 and I tried troubleshoot and it says to buy windows 10 pro. Obviously I don't want to cough up more money so I went onto the get help app to try and get this sorted, they said that they would get everything sorted, and to wait a minute, a few seconds later it would say sorry we were unable to activate windows please talk to someone. So I came to the Microsoft Community to search for answers.

So this brings me to the current situation, I was wandering if anyone could help me with this problem as seeing the Activate Windows watermark is quite annoying. So if you can help me in this desperate situation that would be splendid.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

How long did you wait for activation?
When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
However, it did, finally, activate.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
