  1. Windows Almost Broke My PC

So, that might be an exaggeration. However, when I installed the latest preview build for skip ahead, my pc wouldn't boot into Windows. But, when I inserted my Windows USB boot drive it would boot just fine into it (not into the windows 10 setup from USB but into my actual Windows on my SSD). So I kept going through the process of putting Windows USB boot in to make sure that the same thing happened. And sure enough it did. So, I was scared that I would have to wipe windows and reinstall and lose all my games and saves(it's a custom built gaming pc) because I didn't want to have the stinking USB boot in all the time just to get it to boot. So, I booted with the USB Windows boot in and reverted back to previous version of Windows and disabled Windows insider builds. I'm never getting preview builds again for Windows because what happened to me makes me think that Windows doesn't put enough of their gosh darn time into making SURE (like 100% SURE) that their builds are stable. If they don't someone's precious time spent with all of their games' progress or anything could be lost.

    :)

    Windows Almost Broke My PC

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
