Windows and Linux (Two different hard disks)

    Hi there,

I'm thinking to buy a new PC with a powerful core (i9) and a couple of hard disks: One for Windows 10 Home and one for Linux (probably CENTOS); caused my job. Can you please advise me about how to proceed with the installation? Is it better to unplug the hard disk dedicated to Windows during the installation of Linux and then unplug the HDD of Linux during the installation of Linux OS?

Then, what kind of dual boot can I install? The idea is to have a kind of menu to choose during the starting to choose the OS to run.

Thanks you guys for your help on this topic!

    AD.

    :)

  3. Formatting Hard Disks

Thank you for the prompt response.

Since you received the hard disk with Linux already installed, we advise deleting the partition using Linux or using a different Linux computer. Windows PCs will not be able to detect your hard disk just yet because it is currently in an unrecognizable format.

Should you need further help with other concerns in the future, you're always welcome to post back.

Guide: How to enable, use, and configure SLI on Linux.

I guess the next logical step would be to report on the performance you can get with SLI in Linux. That'd be my suggestion anyway.
