Windows 10: Windows and PC restart?

So i recently bought a Hyperx keyboard and i wanted to download Ngenuity for it . But for some reason Microsoft store would not work for me, so i read some reddit posts on it and somebody suggested to restart your pc (and reinstall windows not factory reset) which would fix it and you can keep your files as an option. So i did it and now i downloaded Ngenuity but in its place came another problem, restarting my pc deleted a lot of programs and apps i had such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Discord and many more (can't open/extract zip file and so on) . But it kept such things as steam and all of its games.
I don't know if its a problem with the restart or does the restart only save files in your C or D drive?Can i recover the programs that are missing or do i have to install all of them? I did not find anyone else having this problem so decided to ask.
If you have a better subreddit in which i could ask this please let me know.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

MY PC has just statred to restart even during Boot and after boot, Please help.

if you want to change any setting just do it step by step so you know what might happen when your pc restart again and again
