    In terms of limited available processing power and storage space, stick with Defender instead of adding a 3rd party Antivirus which will place additional demands on both.

    I do not really have a bank account which is sort of true. I have a joint account that is there to pay my rent but for my personal business I use a prepaid visa. Long way of saying that the bank method to get an antivirus might not work for me.

    XP doesn't have built-in antivirus, only Win8/10. so you have to find one that is light enough for your machine (details of your machine specs will be useful) which is not a simple task.

    I took xp off it but now I have no way to put it back on as I do not have any xp disk.
    I did not like xp except when I have no other choice

    I just use Defender and run MBAM every now and then. I used to use Avast AIS but it has turned into bloatware.
