    Hi everyone.

    I have xbox app on my pc. I am trying to update Ark survival evolved. I am running it on an external hard drive and have been playing on win 10 for some time. The default save location has been set to my external hard drive. The problem is when i update the app not always but a few times currently right now. Windows reinstalls the entire 108 gig game rather than just applying the 14gig update. Is there a way to ask windows to repair the program or refresh it? I tried resetting app data in windows settings but this did not help either. My download speed were I live is 20Mb/s so 108 gig is horrible.

    I appreciate running externall HD is not the best option but I dont have the space on the internal drive to run a lot of xbox win 10 compatible games.

    Hello Adam,

    This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Windows app issue :)

    In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
