    Windows app wont launch and default app location wont change


    Recently I got the xbox game pass for pc and i wanted to install some games and it wouldn't let me because my c drive doesn't have enough space.

    After figuring out how to change it i tried to do so. It responded with the no permissions error. After looking up the fix for that i tried to implement the fix, i removed the wrong folder. The fix didn't work and now i have no functioning windows apps. I have tried all the fixes that i know of and all the fixes on forums from here to reddit. I really need help

    photo app in windows 10 wont load

    my photo app wont open, and I cant uninstall it for it does not come up in the apps list in the settings. But it is in the all apps list.

    When I have tried to reinstall it from playstore it says already installed. But wont open, and the new Twinui default photo view app wont open any jpeg files it say "class not registered".

    I have followed other suggestions of troubleshooting, and system scan with no results.

    Any suggestions?

    Changing default app won't stick

    Hi all
    I am trying to give Windows Photo Viewer all its (file extension) defaults

    I have tried two ways to set Windows Photo Viewer as default:

    Control Panel / Default Programs / Set your default programs / Windows Photo Viewer
    Whatever I do, windows does not let me assign more that two defaults to Windows Photo Viewer. e.g. jpg cannot be assigned.

    When I click Photo Viewer chose a default, a list pops up, but it does not contain Windows Photo Viewer.

    Also I tried to set jRiver as the default for Video Player. It does appear in the list and I can select it in the list, but it will not appear as the default Video Player.

    If I chose Photos as the Photo Viewer app, it appears as the default for both Photo Viewer and Video Player.

    Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong here?

    Suggest you to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter by following the steps below:

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in search bar and press Enter.
    • Click on “View All” on top left pane.
    • Select “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
