Windows 10: Windows Apps Folder Not Removing Old Versions

My windowsapps folder contain multiple versions of apps i no longer have installed such as candy crush saga and disneymagic kingdoms.


How can i delete the items from windowsapps?

3DMARK05 no install (remove previous version)

Just like the title says .I couldnt remove old install with add remove so I removed all folders and registry entries for 3DMARK05 but still same error remove previous version then the app stops the install . Big Time Bummer*Bang Head :banghead:

You could use step 4 in Option 1 to add a new folder in the All Apps list, then add shortcuts into the new folder.

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.
