    Windows Audio and Audio endpoint builder stopped working after update.


    Hi guys.


    Last night ( July 9th ), I updated and restarted my computer. I only noticed the day after that the sound stopped working on my computer. When I hover over the speaker option on the taskbar at the bottom, it says "The Audio Service isn't running". When I noticed this, I tried to search online for a way to fix it, involving trying to troubleshoot it and multiple other things that didn't work. Troubleshooting helped only to the extent to helping me figure out why it stopped working. It said that Windows Audio and Audio Endpoint Builder aren't working. I have tried multiple things online to try and get them to start working again, but every time I get the same error reports.


    Windows Audio error report is simply "Error 1068: The Dependency Service or Group failed to start". When I search the Dependency groups, all BUT the Audio Endpoint builder isn't running.


    Audio Endpoint Builder Error report is simply "Error 193: 0xc1".


    Further more, it it helps, I am using Windows 10 on an HP laptop.


    I'm hoping by posting on this forum that you will be able to help me somehow fix these errors so I can finally have sound back to my computer.

    Windows audio endpoint builder are not in my Pc

    My audio system in My computer does not work, and My computer tell me that i need windows audio and Windows audio endpoint builder to run if the audio system gotta work. and i can see that windows audio is running, but i can not fin Windows audio endpoint
    builder in the computer

    So my question is, "where can i find or download Windows audio endpoint builder?

    No sound - windows audio and audio end point builder not running/installed

    I have the same issue, and applied your suggestion to check he running services.

    Windows Audio runs well.

    But Windows Audio Endpoint Builder is not existing in the list of services.

    How Windows Audio EndPoint Builder service can be installed?

    Audio endpoint builder not working

    I am having problems with my windows audio endpoint builder as i have no sound and it seems i have no audio due to the system not working. I have tried retarting the audio, system restore, but still nothing. My OS is windows 10.please can anyone help
