Windows 10: Windows Audio doesn't work

    Windows Audio doesn't work


    Audio on my mothers laptop, a Lenovo G770, has stopped working.

    It's running Win 10.


    The loudspeaker icon in the task bar has a small X.

    Troubleshooting doesn't work.

    I have tried to reinstall drivers, but no luck.


    Apparently the Windows Audio Service can't start.

    When I try to restart the service, I get the following error (translated from danish):

    The service Windows Audio on the local computer couldn't start.

    Error 0x8000005: Access denied


    Any ideas?!

    Audio doesn´t work aftter connecting headphones

    Original Title: No audio

    Sometimes when i want to use the headphones, i connect them to my computer and then the audio doesn´t work, so i need to restart my computer and the audio returns, so my question is, why this happen? i don´t want to restart my pc everytime that i need the
    headphones.

    I hope that someone can answer me Windows Audio doesn't work :)

    Microphone doesn`t work

    My microphone and ear-phone doesn`t work. Please help me, I have windows 7 home basic, my computer reproduces a sound, but devices no.
