  1. Windows Audio Graph high CPU. No option to disable enhancements.

high CPU use by the WIndows Audio Graph Isolation is leading to running hot, poor battery life and noisy fan.

Most help suggests to disable the enhancements in the speaker properties box. But this "enhancements" tab does not show for any of my audio output devices.

I am running an HP spectre 360 with Realtek Audio manager. i have reinstalled the realtek drive with no change.

Other than that I connect a pair of bluetooth headphones and listen to music using Groove.

It is killing me having to take my power cord every where. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

    :)

Windows audio device graph isolation problem

    Hello,

Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation is an official part of Windows and serves as the primary audio engine in Windows 10. It handles the audio enhancement effects provided by Windows. If you are using any enhancements, we suggest that you disable them and
see if the sounds stops. You may disable your enhancements by following the steps below:

    • Right-click the Volume icon in the Taskbar.
    • Click Sounds.
    • From the Sound window, click the Playback tab, then select the device that you suspect is causing the issue.
    • Click Properties.
    • On the Enhancements tab, click the Disable all enhancements checkbox.
    • Click OK.

HP Envy and Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation

I've bought a new HP Envy, CPU usage is high when doing nothing.

I've established that this is Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation using up the CPU.

The advice for this is to go into the speaker settings and disable all enhancements - however there are no enhancements for me to disable.

Please, how can i fix this?
