Windows 10: Windows automatically scrolls to the very bottom of folders when I add a file

I'm trying to sort some files and I keep getting this infuriating problem. I have two folders open, one of them is very large with many files. I am sorting files from another folder into this very large folder, and I NEED it to stay in place because I'm dragging files into folders and don't want to have to keep scrolling back up to do it again. Every single time I add a file to this large folder, windows automatically puts the file at the very bottom of the folder, and then scrolls the window down to the very bottom. EVERY TIME. Is there a way to turn this off?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Scrolling down pictures in a file / folder - scroll automatically goes to top

I have upgraded to windows 10 yesterday (12 Sep 15).

I have document and picture file / folders in F drive. In picture file / folder I store pictures from my DSLR. After I scroll down the pictures, the scroll comes to top automatically after few seconds. This problem also happens with another file / folder
on this drive with only word, pdf, XL documents.

This problem does not happen if the folder contents is in list mode

Any help advice is welcome. Thanks in advance
