Windows 10: Windows broke the harddrive

So.... My girlfriend is gonna contact the manufactorer of the pc but. I wanted to ask here too.

My girlfriend was playing VRChat in VR and suddenly everything froze for about 15 sec. Then Windows had its Blue screen of death with the error code: Critical Process Died. (No fancy numbers) It said it was gonna recover everythng n all but the % kept saying 0%. After some time it rebotted somehow and went directly into her BIOS (That looks like a fancy version from ASUS (2018)) It booted in her HTC VIVE goggles which was wierd so she managed to save and exit and reboot and plug them out immediately. Now it boots up again in BIOS but on her monitor and now it loop boots into her BIOS (We can select on boot to enter it but after time it does it automatically) She cant boot into windows AT ALL.

What can we do here before we go the long way n turn it in for repair?

Best gaming harddrive Sugestion ???

Seagate states on their 750gb,32mb cache harddrive that the best application is video surveillance.(liquor stores,how very sad and completly overpriced for the amount of problems they have).Yet Passmark lists this near the top of their harddrive page.Any one have a suggestion for something that will last.(maybe samsung???)
Also I was considering a Raidmax hybrid 2 sli 630w powersupply.Any thoughts on Raidmax??

with Recuva I picked I'm not sure because the drive letter was not showing up.

The other two programs you suggested didn't show the drive either...

I have the drive plugged in now...it's still making that noise but it will not show in the computer at all.

I literately need it to pop up for a few minutes just to get my pictures =\
I'm so upset as it's not even showing up but it's getting power I can still hear it trying to spin...
How could Error Checking and Repair completely wipe it out? I don't understand...I was able to access it perfectly fine until I did that.

Method 1: Try updating the Video card drivers and check if it helps.



Follow the steps to update the Video card driver:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
• Right-click on the Video card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.

Method 2: Try installing the game in Compatibility mode and check.



Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

• Right click the Game setup file and select Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
• Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click OK.
• Try installing the Game and check.

If still the issue persist then I suggest you to follow the suggestion provided by crazzilla replied on August 3, 2015 from the below link and check if it helps.
