Windows 10: Windows Camera - Not opening

Yesterday morning, I tried going into Windows Camera, but there wasn't an icon and the window immediately closed out. I contacted Microsoft Support, and they got me a troubleshooter to fix the issue. After about 2 or 3 troubleshooting, Windows Camera was fixed. That was a moment of relief. But it was temporarily, I thought that issue was fixed permanently. But it wasn't because I tried going into Windows Camera again today, and it's doing the same thing it was doing yesterday. I run the troubleshooter again, but this time it's not fixing it. What is going on? Why is it doing this? How can it be fixed permanently and never have to frustrate us users again?

If you have the camera connected to the computer, I would suggest that you disconnect the camera and then try to open the Camera app.



If the camera app opens, follow the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + C” from your keyboard to open “Charms bar”.
• Select “Settings” option.
• Select “Permissions” option.
• Turn on “Allow this app to access your: Webcam and Microphone” option.
• Lose the app by pressing “Alt key + F4” from your keyboard.
• Reopen the Camera app.
• Connect your camera and then check how this app works.
