Hi there, I haven't been able to open any of my word documents today, and this error message keeps appearing.

I have already run the system file checker tool & clean boot as suggested by Roberto Ven in another thread.

The first time, the system file checker tool returned with "... found corrupt files and successfully repaired...", and after that I did the clean boot. But even after restarting my laptop the same error message appeared on all my word documents.

I re-ran the system file checker tool, and it returned with "... did not find any integrity violations".

How to change User name on Windows 10

Since the latest Windows 10 update I've been unable to open anything in 'my pictures' folder with a double click. I get the following error message every time I attempt to open a picture file or video file: Windows cannot find 'C:\users (insert file
directory)' make sure you've typed the name correctly.

• I've looked at my folder's options and 'quick access' is not set.
• I can open the files by right clicking and selecting 'open with'.
• I've found no issues after running 'sfc /scannow'.

Microsoft Wordpad Missing Docx Save Type

Hi Mark,

Updated WordPad versions cannot save files in .doc or .docx format anymore, unlike the previous versions. For us to convert the .txt file to .docx format, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Right-click on the .txt file. Select Open with, and then click on
  Choose another app.
• How do you want to open this file? window will pop up. If you can't see the
  Word app from the list of options, click on More apps, and the select
  Word.

• The document will now open in Word app. Click on File tab.
• On the left pane, select Save As.
• On the right pane, select Word Document (*.docx) from the drop down box.

• Click on Save button.
