    Windows can't detect/connect bluetooth headphones

I had this bluetooth headset connect for a while now to my Dell PC. Then something happened to BT one day and I lost BT capability all together. I tried everything but factory reset. So while waiting to have time to do reset BT came back but I already used that headset with other devices so it fails to pair. Now I'm trying to remove this device from windows and it keeps coming back. When I try to connect or pair with this PC it sees everything else around: other PC, phones, watches, mouse but not this particular headset. So, looks like BT works fine, headset works fine but register/driver is corrupted somewhere so they don't work together

    1. How to fix this connection issue?

    2. How to remove this headset?

Similar thread was closed and I tried everything what people suggested: airplane mode, "scannow" command, troubleshooter it find an error and restores removed drivers, reinstalling drivers, rebooting. Headset in proper mode as it can be discovered and connected to by other devices phone, other PC, it has been connected before

    :)

    Windows can't detect bluetooth headphones

    Hi,

I also had the same issue, it was quite irritating. The audio technica bluetooth device was detected by iphone and samsung phones but when I search with my laptop ( windows 10) it was not discoverable. The device was not showing in the bluetooth list of
discoverable devices. Pressed the headphone switch for long period but the laptop couldnot detect it. Did all the setting changes, changed all the options and updated all the drivers but still it was not detected.

I read somewhere that bluetooth uses something which is common with the wifi so I made sure that the wifi was enabled, airplane made was off. Next disconnected the laptop from the internet wifi connection. Once the laptop wifi was disconnected, it search
the bluetooth headset under 'Bluetooth & other device' and the device was listed. Previously when the laptop wifi was connected to the router, the bluetooth headset was not detected but after disconnecting from the router it was detected.

    Steps:

    1. Airplane mode: OFF

    2. Wifi ON but not connected to any device

    3. bluetooth ON

    4. Search for the device

    Hope this helps!!

    Windows can't detect/connect bluetooth headphones

Cannot connect to bluetooth headphones after upgrade to Win10

I upgraded my Lenovo W530 running Win7 Pro 64 bit to Windows 10. After the upgrade I can no longer connect to my bluetooth headphones which worked before the upgrade. The bluetooth radio is on. When I click Connect in the Action Center it shows that the headphones are connected but they are not. The headphones (actually my hearing aids) play a notification sound when a bluetooth connection is made and I never hear that sound. If I play music the sound goes to the speaker, not my headphones. I have removed the headphones and repaired them. I have checked that all of the bluetooth device drivers are up to date in Device Manager. I would really appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem. Thanks.
