Windows Chrome Live Captions box moves up/left after each word typed - help?

I'm using a Windows 10 laptop. It's been a while, and I have no idea how to fix this. I tried simple stuff like disabling extensions, deleting cookies/cache, etc.Basically whenever Live Captions turns on, the black box starts drifting up and to the left after each new word shows up. It just won't stay fixed. Even if I move the box, it still keeps this north-west drift behavior, no matter where I place the black box, and it remembers its previous "position".Added "bonus" bug: the three icons popup, exit... aren't doing anything.Anyone run into the same issue or have a solution to fix it?

    :)

Live captions - how to get with insider account?

Thanks Elise. I had actually checked for updates before joining the insider program and none were available, but since then the 22H2 update did show up - so I've completed that step, hoorah! But step two, enabling the captions, is not happening. The live captions option does now show up in 'accessibility' and I have turned it on, but then when it comes to downloading the captions I've been trying for 3 days now and I am just stuck with a box that says 'setting up live captions' with a a sliding blue line (whatever you call that - like download in progress, but it doesn't show where the download is at). I left it running the whole day and nothing is happening. I don't think it's my connection as it's working fine for other things. Any suggestions??

    Turn off the Live Caption

    Hi Jun,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Windows key+CTRL+L is the shortcut for live captions within Windows.

There is a separate feature of Captions in Chrome as well, so if the above shortcut does not work, look in the Chrome Settings > Accessibility.

Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
