Windows 10: Windows Computer slow buffering videos

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 5406 2 in 1 Computer that I got recently. However the computer has this really annoying problem where whatever online video you play such as youtube, the video will just load forever. However I noticed that if I change the audio source, for example to my headphones, the video will not lag anymore. So this is definitely a problem with the speakers. I reinstalled the Realtek Audio Drivers for my computer from the dell website but it didn't seem to help. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

I just installed Windows 10 and the buffering is now so slow that it freezes. Is there a way to correct this so video appears normal speed?

I see that when you start watching video it starts buffering. The buffering of video in the web browser depends upon the speed of the internet.

Please answer the below questions to help you assist better.

1. Which is the browser you are using to watch the video?

2. What is the speed of your internet service provider?

3. Are you using proxy server for the internet?

Buffering means the program is reading ahead of what you are watching, that way if a program was streaming something from the internet and you hit a slow download speed, hopefully the buffer should allow the video/audio file to
play without any skips

Follow the below steps and check if it helps,

Method 1:Disable Proxy connection, if any.

If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.

Follow the steps to disable proxy:

• Click the Settings icon at the top right corner in internet explorer.
  
• Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
  
• Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
  
• Uncheck the box next to "proxy server for your LAN".
  
• Click on OK to save the setting and close window.
