    My computer began crashing unexpectedly early this morning, and I haven't been able to determine why—there seem to be several causes, but I don't know what the "root" cause is or how to fix it. Googling solutions has been frustrating. It occurred first as what looked like an error while I was playing a game, but the second crash read:

    After that, I had Windows scan for an update to see if that would resolve the issue. The computer crashed again before it read as complete, but according to the reliability drive, the update went through. At the time of this crash, the blue screen showed this:

    Every time I login I get the message:

    C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft.windows.gdiplus_6595b64144ccf1df_1.1.10586.20_none_db007f1392e69ef4\gdiplus.dll is either not designed for Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or
    contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000006.

    If I look at this file, it was modified on 12-08-2015.

    Since I don’t know what program uses this file I have no way of fixing it.

    Any suggestions?
