Windows 10: Windows Corrupted during Restore

Hi, last night when I went to restore my computer it looked like everything was doing as normal. When it completed I got a pop up along the lines of " Windows recovery did not work" after this I could No longer boot from my ssd so I opted to use a usb recovery drive and I got the same pop up. Now I cannot boot from my ssd and have no clue what to do.

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.

 

Restoring Windows 10 Image using Macrium Reflect


In addition to the above. Here's my suggestion in step by step.
I assume you have Macrium Installed in your current HD and already made a backup copy.

• Connect your new HD via USB port and boot up.
• Run Macrium, click on Restore tab then select the Backup Image that you made to restore
• click on "select a different target disk" then select your new HD as destination
  
  
  
• Proceed to restore then Shutdown and disconnect the old HD and replace with the new HD
• Boot up with your new HD.

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
