Windows could not find a driver for your network adaptor

    Hi all,

So I was using my computer when the wifi suddenly cut out. I ran the network troubleshooter and got the diagnostic "windows could not find a driver for your network adaptor". I have gotten this same error in the last month, but was able to resolve it by downloading the intel Wifi driver on a friend's computer and installing it via a usb, but when I tried the same fix just now I had no luck and am still receiving the same network diagnostic.

I've just tried a system restore, but it didn't work see attached image.

I have a windows update pending, but I can't do anything about that just now without a connection.

I'm nervous to try anything else without a bit of help from someone who knows what their doing! Any help is extremely appreciated I need my laptop for remote learning and need to get this sorted.

Also, in case it's helpful, I have an Acer Spin 5 and my network adaptor list is as follows:

  2. Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter

I have a Window Surface Pro 4 running Windows 10. My computer will not connect to my Wifi router as it normally does. I have run the troubleshooter with no luck and reset the network connections. The troubleshooter says “Windows could not find a driver
for your network adapter. There are no wifi options in the network & internet settings. The computer did a Windows update on 11/7/18 and hasnt been used since. The network adapters does not show an obvious Wifi driver in the list of options. Any advise, this
    is horribly frustrating.
