Windows 10: Windows credentials and form data

Windows credentials are repeated lost and have to be re-entered in browser and in MS Outlook 2019. Forms will stay for a day, sometimes less, some websites wont retain form data. Overall very exhusting to have to reenter form data in sites. This all started with the July Update and there has been no solution or patch found according to a very helpful MS Tech support, level 2.

Form Data

There are several form data that can be accessed on Windows 10. For us to know more about your concern with form data, we'll be needing additional information:

• Can you tell us more details about the form data that you're trying to edit?
• Where are you trying to access form data?
• If possible, can you send us a screenshot of the form data?

Windows Network Credentials

Hi Keith,

We suggest that you disable Credential Manager before mapping your Drives. Please follow these steps to disable Credential Manager:

• In the search box type “Services”
• Right click on “Services” and select “Run as Administrator”
• In the Services Window, look for Credential Manager Service and click “Stop”.
• Restart the computer and go back the Credential Manager Service and set it to “Automatic”.
• Restart the computer again.

Please keep us updated if you were able to map your drives.

 

Edge not remembering ANY form data

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.
    
  • 
    Scan for damaged system files. Right-click the Start icon and select
    Command Prompt (Admin). In the Command Prompt window, type
    sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
    
  • 
    If Microsoft Edge only crashes after some time has passed, try deleting cached data and files. In Microsoft Edge, select the “…” icon in the top right corner and chooseSettings.
    Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear
    and thencached data and files.
    
  • 
    Reset the browser settings by going to
    Control Panel >Internet Options >
    Advanced > Reset. Then reboot Windows.
    
  • 
    Check for updates for Microsoft Edge within
    Settings.
