Windows 10: windows default email program on windows 10- there is none!!

I try to send photos from software that I use and I always get the msg, there is no email associated, please install an email program or create one in the default programs control panel, Windows 10 just has "mail" there is NO default to choose from. When is Windows / Microsoft going to fix this, I have had it with this issues for evernow and I cant email attachments from my scanner nor my photo software. Please Microsoft give windows 10 a DEFAULT email!!

No It didnt appear in my spam box but I updated to Windows live Messenger which sent the confirmation email and also verified windows messenger. Ty everyone for there suggestions

• Open Control Panel and go to Programs.
• Select Set your default programs.
• Highlight Windows Mail under Programs.
• Click Set this program as default and press OK.
