Windows 10: Windows Defender and Update Errors 0x80070643 and 0x80070643

Hello,


A couple of days ago, I turned on my PC and realized that there was a red "x" on the Windows Defender Logo. Windows Defender was turned off and after I tried to turn it on by clicking "restart now" button, it said "Unexpected error. Sorry, we run into a problem. Please try again."


I tried for many times, restarted my PC and tried again for many times but it didn't work.


I also checked for the updates and faced some other errors while I was trying to download and install them.


Now, I have been trying to download and install them for 3 days but still doesn't work.

Could you please help ASAP? Since it's a Windows Defender problem, I try to avoid using the internet on my PC and it causes lots of delayed works to finish.

Here, some information regarding my system, the updates and the errors. I am also adding step by step screenshots of the problems.

- Operating System: Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363

- System Type: x64 Based PC

Windows Update Error 0x80070643 for Windows Defender

For those who have been experiencing the Windows Defender update error 0x80070643 recently, please check my latest update to the thread On Windows Defender Definition Update error 0x80070643.

Still having issues updating Windows Defender as of 4/3/17, 12:30pm CDT on 10 Pro winver 14393.969 . Windows Update shows Error 0x80070643 but manual update via Defender GUI installed latest virus/spyware definition 1.239.713.0. Re-running Window Update shows everything is up to date.

It's been at least 4 days since this glitch first appeared on my machines. Any thoughts on why Microsoft is delaying a fix? Perhaps to include in next Patch Tuesday 4/11?

According to Dona Sarkar they have "not seen" that problem, I hope that in the time that has elapsed since the publication of that tweet they already have seen the problem.
