Windows 10: Windows Defender Blocking Installations of NVIDIA Display Drivers

Ive been trying to install updated drivers to my computer but everytime i have tried i get a notification saying that a virus was stopped at the exact time i was attempting to install the drivers, ive tried everything i can but i don't know what to do. may i please have some assistance?

Nvidia Driver Problem on Windows 10

Hello. Now i'm using only Defender. Uninstalled AVG. Same. (the steps i mentioned done.)

I'm always downloading from Nvidia's Website. I'm using v355.60(WHQL). It's latest. I blocked Microsoft's driver updates. Cause i was trying older Win10 drivers. Every driver solution same.

 

Windows Defender blocking a driver

I just installed a new hard drive plus the Windows 10 S - went to install the Touchpad driver (Dell Vostro) so I can use all the tricks on the mousepad but apparently I had to upgrade to 10 Pro to even install it.

I upgraded and downloaded the driver - now Windows Defender keeps saying "your organisation has blocked this with the App Control" something something.

I have added the pathway to the list of apps allowed but it still won't let it through.

Any suggestions please?

But when i get this error, i tried this first. After this they said me "maybe you have some old files from windows 8, use driver uninstaller the clear all files" it wasn't helped too.

I'm sure Windows Defender causes the problem. In fact, i activated driver twice, overriding Windows Defender. Now i uninstalled the anti virus software. (but it was block it every reboot) Because it's not a perfect solution. I need a perfect solution
