    Windows Defender cannot remove or quarantine a threat.


    Yesterday I downloaded a file and my Windows Defender found HackTool:Win32/Keygen theath and when I gave the option to remove or quarantine it does nothnig. The path of the threat C:\PROGRAMS\PcWonderland.com_uTorrent_Pro_3\Crack\Pro\msimg32.dll does not exist as I deleted everything connected with the downloaded file. Even after eveything is deleted the threat is still detectable by the Defender. How can I remove this threat?

    Windows Defender is missing Restore Button for Quarantined Threats

    It wasn't listed under "Quarantined Threats", but was listed in "See full history" as quarantined. It has been about 2 hours
    and now it is listed under "Quarantined Threats" which now shows the Restore or Delete options. Something must be causing
    a delay in listing the quarantined file under "Quarantined Threats" after they have been found and quarantined by Defender.

    Removing Quarantined Items in Windows Defender

    Windows Defender quarantined some harmful items but did not remove them from my pc. Windows Defender did not request removal. Should I just leave the items quarantined or remove them myself? If removal is recommended, how am I to go about

    doing so, as Windows Defender did not list the items in the Detect section where threats are placed for removal?

    Windows Defender cannot remove or quarantine a threat.

    Unable to remove or quarantine Virus Threat

    Ran a virus scan with defend and 3 threats were detected, however when I went to have them removed nothing happened, tried to quarantine them and again nothing happened any suggestions on how to eliminate these threats. The threats are PUA:Win32/SweetIM
    PUA:Win32/Visicom and PUA:Win32/AskToolbar
