Windows 10: Windows Defender Error 0x800706ba

Hello guys..need your help..I am using windows 10 pro for my pc. Issue started last week.I am unable to open my windows defender.Error message : 0x800706ba.

I tried to go to services.msc and right click restart , however the only option that i can click is only START. Other option such as restart , stop , enable automatic are greyed out.When i click on start , it will display the same error message plus it will display stsrt up as manual and i cannot change it to automatic and etc.I did not install any 3rd party anti-virus on my machine.Need help on this asap. Thank you.

Error 0x800706ba, Error 0x800706be, etc after upgrade to Widows 10

After updating from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, windows tries to install Optional Features but keeps on getting Error 0x800706ba.

So I tried to run Windows Update but I got :

• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3163018) - Error 0x800706ba

• Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.223.1538.0) - Error 0x80070643

• Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3149135) - Error 0x800706ba

Then I tried to open Windows Defender and got :

Error code 0x80070426

Then I tried running "Windows 10 windows Update troubleshooter" and got message :

"A problem is preventing troubleshooter from starting." - Error code 0x80070057

How do I fix this ?

SFC scan, we suggest that you also run Deployment Image Servicing and Management
