Windows 10: "Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features...." repeats

Discus and support "Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features...." repeats in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; Windows 10 v1909 There are 3 programs/apps on my NUC system that for some reason I regularly get "Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features...     "Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features...." repeats


    Windows 10 v1909

    There are 3 programs/apps on my NUC system that for some reason I regularly get "Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features of this app" and I have to give permission to proceed. I have also manually allowed these apps through the firewall, but that setting doesn't seem to stick.

    Another strange thing is that I have a second NUC that is identical to the first (for use as a backup) and this issue does not happen on that system.

    This will always happen after a windows update, but it also happens between updates. I haven't been able to determine a pattern or cause that resets the firewall allowance for these apps.

    Any ideas? This isn't critical but it is annoying.

    Windows Firewall blocking websites

    I have blocked IP addresses, e.g. 255.255.255.255, not URLs, e.g. somewebsite.co m.

    As far as unblocking, look at your Windows Firewall rules. Do you see anything that is blocked? If you do, click on the Scope tab and see what is listed there.

    This path has already been blocked and unblocked...

    What does this mean?

    Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features on networks.

    A Windows box popped up saying:

    Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features of Host Process for Setting Synchronization on all public and private networks. Choose: Allow Access or Cancel. There are two boxes a) private networks and b) public networks. There's a check mark in
    Public networks.

    What to do??
