Windows 10: Windows Defender Firmware Protection Issues

I recently upgraded to windows 11, and the firmware protection for windows defender was disabled. When I go to device security to turn it on, it says that it is managed by an administrator. I tried editing the registry, editing group policy and logging in with the admin account but nothing has worked so far. In msinfo32, the service "secure launch" is configured but isn't actually running.

Did not work for me. After going through all steps I still have protection history full

 

Windows update and windows defender issues

We suggest you to avoid installing any cleaner or anti-virus software that may interrupt the function of Windows Defender. Make sure that Windows Defender is always on. To do this follow these steps:

• On the Start menu, type Windows Defender and hit enter.
  
• Click Settings.
  
• Turn Real-time protection on.

We suggest that you try restarting Windows Defender service and check if issue is resolved. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X key and type services.msc,
  hit enter.
• Search Windows Defender Service.:1)Windows Defender Service ; 2)
  Windows Defender Network.
• Right click on each and press Start.
• Restart your computer and check if issue persist.
