  1. Windows Defender Offline scan has gone very wrong. Now PC stuck in automatic repair loop

    Hi,

My Dell laptop has been painfully slow so I ran windows defender offline to see if this was a virus issue. Clearly it found something because the laptop took a long time to do this and ended up doing a backup and recovery. Unfortunatley this doesnt seem to have worked and its now stuck in an automatic repair loop with the error code

    0xc00002e3.

I do have the system disks somewhere but I dont want to lose all my files on there.

What should I do to fix the laptop?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ellen

    :)

  2. Stuck in Windows defender offline start-up loop.

Heres my problem. Windows 10 on start-up> Preparing automatic repairs> Window Defender Offline> performs scan> restarts> goes right to
'Preparing Automatic repairs' and we begin this loop over and over again.

Windows Defender Offline Stuck in Scanning

My packard bell laptop is stuck in a loop of trying to scan for something with Windows defender offline. How do I stop it as all my GCSE work is on there.

Windows 10 is stuck in Automatic Repair loop

    Hi Robert,

Automatic Repair loop is a feature designed to help you fix some PC issues in Windows. It might fail to work sometimes and stuck in a startup repair loop in Windows 10.

The two most common cases of the Windows Automatic Repair loop issue are:

    1. Windows Automatic Repair stuck on a black screen with "Preparing Automatic Repair" error message.

    2. Windows Automatic Repair failed and said, "Automatic repair couldn't repair your PC".
