  1. Windows Defender weird behaviour after Cumulative Update 2019-12-10.

Hello. After updating Windows 10 1909 system to Cumulative Update 2019-12-10, Windows Defender is seeing system file called "WindowsExplorer.adml" found in folder Windows as a virus. Before this update, Windows Defender didn't see any virus. What is important I found out that if I would not update system to this Cumulative Update 2019-12-10, this file would be not reported by Windows Defender as a virus. What is maybe important, is that it appears on Lenovo device with Intel Core i3. I have no idea what is wrong but I'd like it to be repaired. I'm 100% sure it has something with the Cumulative Update, which I've done after 21.12.2019. This issue will always appear whenever I update to this Cumulative Update. The name of the virus is showing that it's "High Risk". Therefore, I'm 100% sure that I don't have viruses on my PC. It's only connected to the Cumulative Update. Any help would be useful. I've checked already what makes Windows Defender behave like that - and it's clearly Cumulative Update. The only way to stop making this file reported as virus is not updating to Cumulative Update 2019-12-10 through pausing updates for few days before it started to update. And I would like it to be repaired. Does anyone has similar problem?

    :)

    Cumulative Update KB4520062 Windows 10 v1809 Build 17763.832 - Oct. 15 Win Update

    Well:

Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection might stop running
The Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) service might stop running and might fail to send reporting data. You might also receive a 0xc0000409 error in Event Viewer on MsSense.exe.
    Affected platforms:

    • Client: Windows 10, version 1809; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019
    • Server: Windows Server, version 1809; Windows Server 2019
Next steps: At this time, we suggest that devices in an affected environment do not install KB4520062. We are working on a resolution and estimate a solution will be available in mid-November.
