Windows 10: Windows Defender will not open

Discus and support Windows Defender will not open in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; After doing the second upgrade for Windows 10 on one of my machines, when clicking on Windows 10, it says it cannot open.     Windows Defender will not open


    After doing the second upgrade for Windows 10 on one of my machines, when clicking on Windows 10, it says it cannot open. Everything else is working fine. How to fix this? there is no other antivirus program on this computer and it worked fine prior to the original upgrade to windows 10

    WINDOWS DEFENDER WILL NOT OPEN!!!

    My Windows Defender app will not open. Every time I attempt to open it, I always receive:: "This app has been turned off and is not monitoring your computer." I go to my settings, and it's on; I do not know what else to do. I give up!!! I need help!!!
    WHAT SHOULD I DO?!

    Hi Chasitee,

    This is a known issue that is either caused by a third-party antivirus or an update that wasn't installed properly. With that said, do you have any other security software?

    Also, when did this start happening? Did this happen after an update or out of the blue?

    We'll be waiting for your response.
