Windows 10: Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter

    Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter


    Hello, I know this is a common and recurring error related to network connection but I've tried many of the proposed solutions and nothing has worked so far.

    The title of the question is the error I get when I run the troubleshooter to try to fix the network connection. I already tried to Uninstall the drivers from device manager and that did not fix it. I used to have the adapters shown in the photo but after Uninstalling them they do not appear in the device manager anymore, the error that I was getting with those drivers was Code 45 This is in Windows 10. I tried downloading them from another computer and installing them from a USB but that didn't do anything. Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter [​IMG]

    Hello.

    So I completely replaced Windows 10 Home with Ubuntu.

    Ubuntu was not working well on my computer {Acer Aspire 2 in 1 convertible with 32 Gb SSD} so I decided to go back and install again Windows 10.

    After successful new clean install, I see that “Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter” so I’m unable to connect to the internet.

    Also “No audio output device is installed”.

    This type of Acer uses Realtek, have already downloaded some drivers but still “Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter”.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Long story short. I have a Asus Crosshair iv formula motherboard which has has Windows 7/8/10 installed on it before. I have used W10 preview since it first came out and I've been using the final version now. Internet has worked fine until today. Tells me it can't find a properly installed network adapter. Under device manager it list as unknown device. I even formatted and reinstalled my OS. Drivers from Asus website not working for, they only have the LAN driver listed for wins 7, help.

    Network adapter

    I tried the first option and i get "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter." Therefore i cannot try any other suggestions that require internet connection. I am using an android tablet right now so i know the router and modem work
    - xfinity **** unit. I tried troubleshoot update problems. Applied fix to pending updates.and got the above message about network adapter. Trying next step and fixed Update Database error, repaired update components, and pending update check, but "Windows
    could not find driver for your network adapter. So what do i do now?
